Initiatives and new memberships

Our priority is to dedicate resources and efforts to improving our procedures and practices in matters of Corporate Responsibility, and to this end we have joined and take an active part in various associations to bring us closer to this goal.

United Nations Global Compact

In 2002 we joined the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative aimed at encouraging companies to adopt ten principles relating to human rights, working conditions, the environment and the fight against corruption as an integral part of their strategy and operations. In addition, we form part of local networks in Spain (Spanish Global Compact Network), Argentina (Group to sponsor the Global Compact in Argentina) and Bolivia (Bolivian Corporation for Corporate Social Responsibility).

European Road Safety Charter

European Road Safety Charter

The European Commission is playing a leading role in the European effort to make our roads safer. Thus institutions, associations and companies have the opportunity to share ideas and practices throughout Europe, so that all collaborators can learn from each other and gain insight on how risks on Europe's roads can be avoided. Since 2005 we have adhered to this initiative and signed the European Commission's European Road Safety Charter to reduce the number of traffic accidents and casualties.
