The Repsol Foundation has implemented a campaign to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti and has opened a current account with an initial provision of 100,000 Euros, so that anyone who wishes to help has a direct channel to do so.
In addition, contributions can be made through the network of Repsol service stations. In over 1000 network establishments, individuals who wish to do so can make donations. On the Repsol website, a "site" has been enabled in which information is provided on which service stations are initially included in this initiative, the number of which will gradually increase.
The Repsol Foundation commits to contribute an additional 10 percent to the amount collected. The total amount donated will be allocated to humanitarian aid and to the reconstruction of the country through: the Red Cross, Action Against Hunger, Solidaridad Internacional and SOS Children’s Villages, which have specific projects to ensure that the aid received is sustainable and will be used appropriately.
The account number is: 2100 5731 76 0200088103 (La Caixa)
In parallel, the Repsol Foundation, in partnership with NGO Mano a Mano, and with the logistics provided by Iberia, has sent 5000 burial plastic bags as per the estimate of the needs identified and the available transport capacity.
