The Tarragona Industrial Complex launches its corporate website

The Tarragona Industrial Complex presents its new corporate website in order to strengthen links with its various stakeholders. This tool seeks to provide detailed information on the Complex, one of Spain’s most important, and to attain greater communication with every audience. 

Repsol is the first company in the Asociación Empresarial Química de Tarragona (Tarragona Chemical Company Association) to create a website (www.tarragona.repsol.com) with direct access to local content and with an email address ( repsoltarragona@repsol.com) which will also be directly used and managed from the Industrial Complex.  

This website includes a simple, fresh navigation design, whereby users can easily find all the information required. Its four sections: What we do, Employment Channel, Our Commitment and Press Room, summarise data which are of interest to all its users clearly and fully.

Repsol has become a reference point in the Internet world, as a result the high quality and up-to-date nature of the content in each of its areas. The Tarragona website forms part of the corporate website www.repsol.com and has the backing and experience of this site. This site has proven its ability to adapt to user requirements and changing times, giving rise to the recognition of its leadership in transparency in online communication in Spain and Europe.

WHAT WE DO

This section summarises the Tarragona Industrial Complex presentation, which includes its installations, history, contribution to technology, products, publications and a virtual visit which completes an interactive journey to one of the country’s most modern installations.

Within this section, the Complex provides detailed information on its processes and products by area and the different uses for everyday life, offering interesting information to users, who have the chance to become involved in Tarragona’s daily production.

EMPLOYMENT CHANNEL

Information on employment opportunities is one of the most important contents on the new website. In this section, the Tarragona Industrial Complex shows how it manages human resources; it presents its work team, its work in professional development, its organisation and commitment to safety, as well as available vacancies.

It also has a direct access point for sending CV details and has an area specifically for employees and what they think about their duties and positions in the Tarragona Industrial Complex.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT

Tarragona is one of Spain’s most important complexes and strict environmental control is performed on the installations. In this section, the Complex shows all of the activities carried out to control and minimise environmental impact.  

The section on safety shows specific numeric data on the activity carried out and the investment made for hazard prevention and control of emergencies with content which is interactive and simple, allowing the information to be easily understood.

The section ends with an explanation on the contribution of the Tarragona Industrial Complex in its areas of influence, its involvement with the surrounding area and its social responsibility, through many partnerships in the cultural, social and educational spheres.
