Investments

In 2008, Repsol's LNG business area invested a total of 242 million euros, which represents a decrease of 37% against the 387 million invested in 2007. This amount will mainly be allocated to the construction of the Canaport regasification terminal (Canada) and the Peru LNG liquefaction project. The latter was financed through capital contributed by partners until November 2008, when the first external funding was disbursed.
