The start-up of Canaport LNG operations has consolidated Stream as the fourth largest LNG carrier in the world.

The gas transportation activity carried out in Morocco through the companies EMPL and Metragaz accounted for a total volume of 109,230 GWh, which represents a decrease of 18.2%. The greater demand for energy in the Iberian Peninsula, together with the optimisation of the company's supply-demand balance, led to a lower volume of transported gas, and so a lower level of use of the Magreb-Europe gas pipeline.
On the projects to develop two regasification terminals in Italy (Trieste-Zaule and Taranto), progress continues to be made in the processing and approval of the different authorisations required. Gas Natural SDG sales on the open market reached 182,299 GWh, down 19.3% on the previous year, due to lower gas consumption for electricity generation in combined cycles as a consequence of the drop in energy demand, low pool prices and the fall in economic activity.
