Gas Natural Fenosa

One of Repsol’s strategic allies is the Gas Natural Fenosa Group and since the Repsol – Gas Natural LNG Stream society was created in 2005, they have worked together in the exploration, production, liquefaction, transportation and wholesale marketing of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Following the recent acquisition of electricity company Unión Fenosa, the third largest in the Spanish market, Gas Natural SDG has reached its objective to integrate gas and electricity businesses into one company with extensive experience in the energy sector.

• Repsol is the fourth largest LNG operator in the world.
• Gas Natural Fenosa is the main natural gas distributor in Spain.
• The number of customers in Latin America to whom Repsol and Gas Natural SDG distribute gas grows to 5.42 million.  
• In acquiring Unión Fenosa, S.A., Gas Natural Fenosa has been strengthened as an energy group, present in 23 countries, with over 20 million customers.
