Repsol

NB: The entities Barclays Global Investors, NA, Barclays Global Investors, Ltd., Barclays Global Fund Advisors and Barclays Global Investors (Deutschland) AG, informed the CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores) on 18 January 2008 of the existence of an agreement to jointly exercise voting rights in Repsol YPF for a share of 3.22%. According to the information presented to the CNMV, these entities are companies that manage collective investment institutions, without their parent company (Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings, Ltd.) giving direct or indirect instructions as to the exercise of voting rights held by the said management companies.
