Begoña Elices García

Begoña Elices graduated in Information Sciences and Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid.

She is currently Repsol's Executive Director of Communication and Chairman's Office, a position in which she holds responsibility for communications with national, international, regional and sporting media, as well as online communications (corporate website), sports sponsorship deals, advertising and corporate identity. She also coordinates the actions of external relations in industrial complexes and in all countries where the company has a presence.

Before joining Repsol, she was Deputy Director-General and Director of Public Relations for Banco Santander Central Hispano, Director of Public Relations and Deputy Director-General responsible for Public Relations for Banco Central Hispano, and Director of Public Relations for Banco Hispano Americano.

Prior to her involvement in business communications, Begoña worked for more than ten years for the EFE news agency, where she worked as a journalist reporting on international, national and financial news.
