Paris (France), 1949. Ba Economics, University of São Paulo and post graduate work at Hertford College, Oxford. Former Secretary of the State Business Budget Office and Deputy Minister of Planning in Brazil. From 1988 to 1999 he held the position of Executive Vice President of Banco Inter American Express, S.A. From 1999 to 2001 he was Chairman of Brazilian State Oil Company Petrobrás. He is Member of the Strategic Board of ABDIB, Member of the Board of Ashmore Energy Internacional, Member of Coinfra, Member of the Advisory Board of Lhoist do Brasil Ltda., Member of the Supervisory Board of Peugeot Citroen, S.A., Member of the International Advisory Board of Group Credit Agricole and Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development.

Mr. Reichstul was appointed Director of Repsol YPF, S.A. by resolution of the Board of Directors on 29th December, 2005, and subsequently ratified and appointed by Annual Shareholders Meeting on 16th June, 2006 and re-elected by the Annual Shareholders Meeting on April 30th, 2010.
