Pedrosa and Márquez congratulate the Spanish football team on their blogs
The Repsol riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Márquez are among the many people that have congratulated the Spanish football team, brand new World Cup Winners. The two riders have sent a message of congratulations and say on their blogs how proud they are of what the squad has achieved.
“I imagine that like many of you I did not miss out on the World Cup final” writes Dani Pedrosa. The rider from Castellar de Vallés near Barcelona compared the team`s victory over The Netherlands to “a race won on the final corner. It was very exciting” he adds. “What they have achieved is historic. Congratulations!”.
Marc Márquez, on the other hand, opens his post this week with his congratulations to "La roja - The reds’: “First of all congratulations to the Spanish national team! We were watching it enthralled, it was a difficult match but in the end they won and we are all very proud of what they have done in this year`s World Cup. Congratulations!”.
Repsol, sponsor memeber of the ADO - Asociación de Deportes Olímpicos Olympic Sports Federation - has joined in the celebrations. The Spanish national team has demonstrated that it knows how to transmit the values that are promoted by this body: effort, team spirit, teamwork, solidarity and humility, both when winning and when losing.
This historic achievement means that it is now the right time to send a message of congratulations: WELL DONE WORLD CUP WINNERS!
